HeartStone is the home of James Rait, a Toronto based production professional with over thirty years experience in the Canadian Film and Television industries.

James has been 'on set' since the mid 1980's and is credited in over 400 hours of content for domestic and international broadcasters and distributors as a Director, 2nd Unit Director, 1st Assistant Director

and Production Manager

Whether it's comedic or dramatic narrative, true crime re-enactment or big budget motion pictures lensed in exotic locales, James brings creative insight, fiscal awareness and a relaxed attitude.
